Col Kirori Singh Bainsla, convener of the Gujjar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, sacked three senior members of the Samiti on Thursday for "talking to the government without his consent."
The three sacked leaders include Himmat Singh, Diwan Singh and Ram Bainsla. These leaders have participated in all protests staged by the Samiti.
Col Bainsla said the three leaders communicated with the government "on their own" and that they made it appear as if there was a truce just round the corner between the government and the Gujjars.
"These leaders have cheated the entire community by misrepresenting the picture and hence have been sacked," he said.
Gujjar leaders have decided to block Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's Gaurav Yatra in their region as their demands have not been met since signing of an agreement on May 19.
Meanwhile, the Samiti's sacked member Himmat Singh alleged that Col Bainsla has been changing his stand.

"In the meeting called on Aug 8, it was decided that we would protest the Gaurav Yatra and that if the government invites us, we will go for talks. However, his son, Vijay did not allow us to talk. So, we had to go for the meeting keeping in view the Gujjar society's larger interests.
