Tamil films "Thuppakki", "Vettaiyaadu Vilayadu" and "Aadukalam" will be screened as part of the centenary fete of Indian cinema in Russia in December.
The celebrations will be organised by Indo-Russian Cultural and Friendship Society (IRCFS).
"We are celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema in Russia in collaboration with the Russian government in December. Three Tamil films 'Thuppakki', 'Vettaiyaadu Vilayadu' and 'Aadukalam' will be screened at the event," P. Thangappan, secretary general, IRCFS, told IANS.
"These films will be screened along with several other Indian films. We are yet to zero in on the final list of films to be screened at the fest," he added.
All the three films achieved critical and commercial success.
Vijay-starrer action-drama "Thuppakki" is currently being remade in Hindi with Akshay Kumar as "Holiday".
