Actress Tina Fey's yet untitled war comedy, which is based on Kim Barker's memoir "The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan", will release on March 4.
The film will recount Barker's years as a journalist in Afghanistan and Pakistan, reports variety.com.
Barker covered the volatile region while a reporter at ProPublica and as the South Asia bureau chief for The Chicago Tribune from 2004 to 2009.
Fey stars in the movie along with Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Nicholas Braun, Christopher Abbott, Sheila Vand, Stephen Peacocke and Evan Jonigkeit.
"Crazy Stupid Love" helmers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa are directing the film from Robert Carlock's script.
The "Date Night" actress, Lorne Michaels and Ian Bryce are producing the project, shooting for which began in New Mexico in February.
