Bollywood action director Tinu Verma, best known for his action sequences in films like "Koi... Mil Gaya", "Pukar", and "Eklavya: The Royal Guard", will direct stunts in the upcoming mythological TV show "Suryaputra Karn".
Verma, who played the role of Jarasandha in 2013 mythological show "Mahabharat", will be directing action sequences for the first time in a TV show, read a statement.
"Suryaputra Karn", which will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television starting June 29, is touted to bring action sequences which have never been seen on television. The show is said to be one visual delight for the audience.
"Suryaputra Karn", starring Vishesh Bansal as the young Karn, is currently being shot in the locales of Srinagar.

Mika, Sunidhi learn new language in 'The Voice India'

Bollywood singers Mika Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan, who play coaches in the singing reality show "The Voice India", will soon be seen learning a Sikkimese language from a contestant from the northeastern state.
In the forthcoming episode, 20-year-old Passang Doma Lama from Sikkim, who works as an accounts clerk at the crime branch CID police headquarters in Mumbai, will be seen singing "Ganesh Vandana" after which the judges will request her to teach them how to say 'thank you' in her native language, according to a source.
Sunidhi and Mika, who are seen on the &TV show along with Himesh Reshammiya and Shaan, will reportedly say 'Thuji' -- thank you in the Sikkimese language -- to Lama.
"Pasang won the hearts of Mika and Sunidhi for her outstanding performance. Mika was impressed with her and when he got to know that Passang hails from Gangtok, in Sikkim, he got very excited.
Mika and Sunidhi were very curious to learn Passang's native language. "They took special language classes from her and thanked her in her language," the source said in a statement.
The episode will be aired on Saturday.

Anju Mahendru to do black magic in 'Code Red'
Actress Anju Mahendru, best known for her roles in films like "Jewel Thief", "Bandhan" and "Page 3", will be next seen essaying the character of a woman who practises black magic in the upcoming episode of TV show "Code Red".
The "Talaash" series of the show has been unravelling the unexplained paranormal occurrences which have influenced the minds of citizens across the country.
The upcoming special episode will highlight the worries of the residents of Govindpur village in West Bengal who fear the Nishi Daak -- a cruel ghost.
Anju's character summons the cruel ghost, and takes the lives of innocent children to save her own two grandsons by transferring their energies, read a statement.
She does this for the well-being of her family so that the lineage can go on. Although she is no more in the village, the fear of her return still lingers among the villagers.
The episode will be aired on Wednesday on Colors.
