English football club Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday renewed the contract of Harry Winks until 2022.
The 21-year-old English midfielder has played 25 games with Tottenham in all competitions this season, including two matches in the group stage of the Champions League, reports Efe.
"I'm delighted, over the moon to sign another contract with the club, commit my future even more and I'm looking forward to the years ahead," he said, according to the English football club's official website.
The midfielder stressed that he has always been a Tottenham fan, adding "I've been playing for Tottenham since I was six but I feel like I'm gradually getting into more of an important role."
Winks, who plays with the Under-21 England national team, made his debut with Tottenham in November 2014 in a Europa League match against Serbian side FK Partizan.
