Two labourers were killed and three others injured when a speeding truck hit them here early Sunday morning, police said. The driver was arrested.
Kishna, who hails from Bihar, and an unidentified labourer, both in their early 30s, were killed in the accident around 4 a.m. in South Extension area in south Delhi. The truck was coming from the Dhaula Kuan side.
"The injured are undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences," said a police officer.
Truck driver Nayeem lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a bus stand where the victims were working, police said.
A case of rash driving and causing death due to negligence has been registered against the driver, police said.
