Hyderabad Police on Monday arrested two people and are on the lookout for five others following a complaint by a girl that she was gang-raped.
The victim, hailing from Darjeling and living in Himayat Nagar here, approached the Narayanguda police station complaining that she was raped by her boyfriend and six others on Sunday night.
The 16-year-old, who works in a beauty parlour, told police that her boyfriend cheated her in the name of love and raped her with his friends.
According to her statement, he called her to a park in Secunderabad where he along with his friends raped her.
Police arrested two accused, including the victim's boyfriend, and formed a team to track down five others. A case under Nirbhaya Act has been booked against the accused.
