Two people were arrested Sunday in connection with recovery of posters of terror outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen, Bangladesh (JMB) from West Bengal's Purulia district, police said.
The posters of the terror outfit, said to be involved in the Oct 2 Burdwan blast, were found Saturday from Nimtala village in the district.
"We have arrested two people in this connection but so far we have not found any evidences to suggest they have links with JMB. The accused are involved in a land dispute and prima-facie it appears they used JMB name in the posters to terrorise the villagers," said Superintendent of Police Sudheer Kumar Neelakantam.
Both the accused were presented before a court which remanded them to 10 days police custody.
