Two BSF personnel were killed and four wounded in a gunfight with Maoist guerrillas in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region.
The incident occurred around 2.30 a.m. Friday night when a BSF patrol team was ambushed. The exchange of fire lasted for about one hour, following which two security personnel -- Vijay Kumar and Rakesh Kumar -- died while Jagdish Kumar Kama, Manoj Kumar Kama, Siptendu Thomas and Pappa Kathnam were injured, police superintendent Jitendra Meena said.
