Two people have been arrested in a Goa beach village for possessing hashish and synthetic party drug LSD, valued at Rs.3.5 lakh, police said Saturday.
The drugs were found in a house in Anjuna village, notorious as a narco-tourism destination, during a raid conducted by the Goa Police anti-narcotics cell.
John Fernandes, 52, and Dulal Das, 43, were arrested and booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the Indian Penal Code.
