Palestinian sources on Thursday said Israeli warplanes struck the Gaza Strip twice, with no human casualties reported.
The sources told Xinhua news agency that the two airstrikes targeted two locations belonging to the Al-Qassam brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Hamas movement, in central and southern Gaza, leaving only structural damage but no human casualties.
The Israeli army said the two raids come "in retaliation to the rockets fired Wednesday night against the western Negev area" in southern Israel.
No Palestinian faction claimed responsibility for the rockets launched from Gaza.
