Two Maoists held in Jharkhand; five vehicles torched

Two Maoist guerrillas were arrested while five tractors were set afire by suspected Left insurgents in Jharkhand on Monday, police said.

The two guerrillas of the People's Liberation Front of India were arrested from Tamar area of Khuti district and two pistols and 16 cartridges seized from them.

The five tractors were torched by the Maoists at Manatu in Palamu district after their demand for money was refused, police said.
