Two NATO soldiers were killed after two gunmen opened fire in Afghanistan's Helmand province on Wednesday, the NATO-led Resolute Support (RS) mission said.
"Two Resolute Support soldiers died TODAY (Wednesday) when two individuals wearing Afghan National Defence and Security Forces (ANDSF) uniforms opened fire on their vehicle in Helmand province," Xinhua quoted the alliance as saying in a statement.
"Afghan and Resolute Support officials are examining the incident and further information will be released as available and appropriate," said the statement.
