At least 10 people were killed and seven injured after Typhoon Fung-Wong hit the Philippines, officials said Sunday.
According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the storm has affected a total of 183,188 families, of which 42,897 families are now residing in evacuation centres, Xinhua reported.
Four landslides were reported and an estimated 75 roads and three bridges were rendered not passable, the council said.
Some areas in the provinces of Apayao, Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Laguna and Occidental Mindoro are facing power outages.
