Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik visited the Jagadguru Kripalu Chikitsalaya (JKC), a fully-charitable hospital in Vrindavan, on Monday evening and hoped the needy in its vicinity will get the best of healthcare services.
"It is heartening to know that Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat is working to accomplish the spiritual leader's vision. People who cannot afford healthcare costs will benefit from the JKC-Vrindavan. The facilities are excellent," Naik said.
The trust has already established two free hospitals in the village of Mangarh in Pratapgarh district which is functional from 2003 and at Barsana that started operations in 2007.
"This is the third charitable hospital of our trust. It will provide all possible help to those who are needy -- for free. Our effort would continue to extend the benefits to those who reside in remotest area of Braj," said the Parishat's president, Vishakha Tripathi.
The hospital was inaugurated on Friday by union Textiles Minister Santosh Gangwar.
Trust official Ram Puri said that it will serve as a multi-facility, 100-bed hospital that will provide free consultation, in-patient treatment, diagnostics and medications to the residents of Braj.
