Accusing the United Progressive Alliance government of using central agencies to launch a number of probes against her government and party, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Friday said a conspiracy has been hatched to finish the state economically.
"There is an all out conspiracy to malign the state. The CPI-M, Congress, and a part of the BJP have hatched the conspiracy, so as not to allow us to work," Banerjee told a rally at Burdwan town.
"The various agencies are being used to launch probe against us. The heroes of the Coalgate scam are conspiring against us. Such conspiracies are being hatched against all states," she said.
Banerjee claimed that whn her party was a partner in the UPA coalition, there were efforts to launch income tax raids on her Trinamool Congress MPs.
"Files of our party MPs were sought. When I met the prime minister sometime back I told him to go ahead. I told him 'If we are with you, then we are bad. Again if we are not with you, then also we are bad'".
Banerjee claimed that the central government wanted to drag her into a corruption case as they were unable to smear her reputation.

"They say they have touched (Bahaujan Samaj Party supremo) Mayawati, (Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam (Singh Yadav), (AIADMK chief) Jayalalitha, but are unable to touch Mamata. So they want to drag my name into some (corruption) case. But let them touch my hair . I warn the kings and queens not to play with fire."
Raising her voice, the Trinamool Congress supremo said in the coming election, "we will change the government in Delhi. I will tour the entire country. Nobody owns Delhi. It is the property of the people, not that of any particular party".
Banerjee predicted that the next general elections would be held in three to six months time and the Congress would not win a single Lok Sabha seat from the state.
"How long will you be in power? I will smash the conspiracy. The elections are only three to six months away. I will ensure you don't get a single seat from Bengal," she told the Congress.
