Urvashi Kaur, Akaaro to be part of Spring Summer Wishlist

The Wishlist, the pop-up shop that brings together the best treasures from across the country, is back with its fifth season titled The Spring Summer Wishlist. Names like Urvashi Kaur and Akaaro are set to be part of the event.

The Wishlist is a carefully selected, thoughtfully curated pop-up shop that showcases some of the trendiest creations from across the country and this edition will take place on March 4.

After four mega successful seasons, The Wishlist has brought together a curation of master weavers, artisans and designers from all over India for its fifth season.

"Spring is here and so is happiness! We are delighted to present the new Spring Summer season of our pop-up show in March. This season we have some exciting collaborations with interesting re-interpretions of traditional designs in new innovative ways," said Sadhana Talwar, founder of The Wishlist.

"All our participants share the same ideology -- promoting handmade, handcrafted products, made by or in collaboration with local artisans and craftsmen -- the essence of The Wishlist! From Banaras to Orissa, we learn something new with each show and season and the travels that it entails," she said.

"Ceramics, handmade bead bags, Handcrafted jewellery, organic sustainable fabrics, hand-dyed handprinted handwoven and even some homemade healthy snacks, there is some treasure for everyone to discover," she added.

Some of the brands and designer who will be part of event are NIMAI in exquisite jewellery range, Urvashi Kaur and Akaaro by Gaurav Jai Gupta for stylish apparel, Vriksh for traditional Orissi saris and some upcoming artists such as Ulupi for contemporary Indian clothing with colour blocking and kalamkari and Marm with beautiful chanderi work.
