US Ambassador to India Kenneth I. Juster concluded his two-day visit Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, officials said.
During his visit, the envoy called on Governor Ram Naik and held deliberations with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among others.
He was taken on a guided tour of the British Residency where he was briefed about the rich heritage of the city by officials of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
The US envoy met Health Minister Siddhartha Nath Singh and had a working lunch with Samajwadi Party (SP) chief and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
Speaking about his visit, Juster said: "Lucknow truly symbolizes the blending of cultures in India and holds a distinct place in India's history".
During his interaction with Chief Minister Adityanath, the two discussed possibilities of taking business ties between UP and the US to new heights.

Adityanath briefed him about the decisions and policies rolled out by his government towards ease of doing business.
