A US nurse infected with the Ebola virus disease while caring for a patient from Liberia in Texas will be discharged from hospital soon, the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) said Friday.
Nina Pham, one of the two nurses infected at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital and transferred to the NIH's clinical centre Oct 16, "is now virus free," the NIH said.
NIH officials will provide more details later in the day, Xinhua reported.
