An American sailor, who has been missing for over two months, was found off the coast of the US state of North Carolina, a media report said on Friday.
Louis Jordan, 37, and his sailing vessel 'Angel' were reported missing by his family to the coast guard on January 29, USA Today reported.
Jordan was found by a German tanker 200 miles off the North Carolina coast on Thursday.
The coast guard received a message from the German-flagged ship 'Houston Express' on Thursday. The crew reported that they spotted a man and a sailboat and they took him aboard.
A coast guard official said details about how he went missing are still unknown, adding that there was "no reason to question what happened, and we'll get more information when we can speak to him".
