Veteran BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi on Thursday described the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a personal loss and said that he was a people's leader.
"I had a long relation with Vajpayee ji. He was a guide and inspiration for many party leaders," Joshi told reporters here.
"He was people's leader and he ruled the mind of people and kept the country together," he said.
He also said that Vajpayee always followed 'Raj dharm'.
Describing Vajpayee's death as a great personal loss, the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader said: "It's a great loss and a personal loss for me. We saw him as an inspiration.
"I don't know when another Atal Bihari Vajpayee can be seen in the future," he added.

Vajpayee, a founder member of the BJP and the first non-Congress Prime Minister to complete a full term in office, died in Delhi on Thursday after prolonged illness. He was 93.
