France chief coach Didier Deschamps called Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, while naming Sebastien Corchia for the first time on Thursday for the next two football matches.
Deschamps's squad is preparing for a friendly with Italy on September 1, followed by a tie with Belarus on September 6 in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers, reports Efe.
The 23-player list saw the return of Varane, who missed Euro 2016 because of an injury, as well as Nabil Fekir, while Patrice Evra, 35, was left out and the coach did not hide that his age was a consideration in the decision.
