Striker Harry Kane has said Tottenham Hotspur made a statement of intent to win the English Premier League football title with their impressive 4-0 triumph against Stoke City.
The result on Monday moved them to within five points of leaders Leicester City, Spurs have scored 64 goals and conceded on just 25 occasions in this BPL campaign, both leading figures in the competition.
Mauricio Pochettino's men have lost just one of their last 16 league away matches, winning nine of those, and have only conceded nine goals in their last 13 fixtures on the road.
Kane, who scored twice in the win, said after the match: "It was a statement. What a performance by everyone. To win in that manner we have showed what we're about - we're not going anywhere."
"We could have scored six or seven and it's probably one of our best performances of the season. We're scoring goals and it's a clean sheet as well so you can't ask for much more."
The England striker leads the race for the Golden Boot with 24 goals in the 2015-16 campaign and said he hoped to continue scoring goals.
