The makers of "Vignahartha Ganesha" will be using Mo-cap (motion capture) technology. They claim that it is the first time the technology will be used to tell a story on the small screen.
According to a statement, the show's production company Contiloe Pictures has joined hands with American company Faceware Technologies as the technology provider for Mo-cap special effects for the show, which will air on Sony Entertainment Television soon.
Motion capture is the process of recording the movement of objects or people. In filmmaking, it refers to recording actions of human actors, and using that information to animate digital character models in 2D or 3D computer animation.
The entire team of Faceware Technologies is looking forward to working on the mythological show. "Vignahartha Ganesha" aims to showcase the special relationship parents share with their child.
