After exploring the world of small as well as big screens, Vikrant Massey is excited to go behind the camera as a producer. The actor says there are many "projects in pipeline", and will announce soon.
Vikant, who became a household name with serials like "Dharam Veer" and "Balika Vadhu", forayed in Bollywood with films like "Lootera" and "Dil Dhadakne Do". Now, he is set to turn a producer along with Nivedita Basu from Balaji Telefilms.
The production house is called Home Grown productions and they are coming up with their first project - "35 mm".
"I'm excited about the new venture. Nivedita and I have been good friends for a while now. Lets hope this business partnership would turn out well. We have a few more projects in pipeline which will be announced soon," Vikrant said in a statement.
The first film from the production house is a drama short film based on a life of a director and an actress. It is directed by actor Chandan Roy Sanyal.
