Actress Viola Davis will next be seen in "12 Years a Slave" fame director Steve McQueens upcoming heist thriller film "Widows".
"Gone Girl" screenwriter and novelist Gillian Flynn has been roped in to pen the script with McQueen, reports variety.com.
Based on the 1983 British mini-series about a caper gone wrong, the story follows four armed robbers who get killed in a failed heist attempt, leaving their widows to finish the job.
Davis, who is currently seen in TV show "How to Get Away With Murder", has been busy balancing her TV and film schedule in the past year. She was recently seen as Amanda Waller in "Suicide Squad".
