Vitesse beat holders Feyenoord 2-0 to qualify for the last four of the Dutch Cup football tournament.
Guram Kashia headed in the opening goal from a corner by Adnane Tighadouini in the 55th minute. Tighadouini tipped in the second home goal six minutes later here on Thursday, reports Xinhua.
With veteran Dirk Kuyt left on the bench by coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Feyenoord were not able to bounce back from that deficit.
Feyenoord, the Dutch league leaders, are now out of contention to grab two domestic trophies. In Eredivisie league, they currently are five points ahead of number two Ajax after 19 of the 34 match rounds.
Vitesse followed Sparta Rotterdam, AZ Alkmaar and second division side SC Cambuur to the semi-finals.
Sparta beat FC Volendam after penalties on Tuesday, while AZ defeated SC Heerenveen 1-0 on Wednesday.
