Telecom major Vodafone is set to launch a new campaign celebrating speed during the latest edition of the popular twenty20 event Indian Premier League.
The campaign "Speed is Good" comprises a series of television commercials that the company would air during the seven-week-long tournament.
The campaign is made of short but charming and memorable stories where customers use their fast 3G network to bring a smile to someone's face, the company said in a release.
As a build-up to the IPL campaign, the telecom giant had earlier launched the idea of "Speed is Good" with two commercials -- "Farewell" and "Haircut".
"IPL is the biggest sporting platform in the country designed to appeal to a wide audience with high clutter and frequency during a very compact period," Ronita Mitra, the company's senior vice president for brand communications and insight, said in the release.
