Australia coach Colin Batch, whose side clinched the bronze medal at the Hockey Men's World Cup after registering a massive 8-1 win against England here on Sunday, said they were determined to win the match.
Batch said the team was highly motivated to improve their performance in the match after the disappointment against the Netherlands on Saturday.
"After the disappointment in the last game where we lost the semi-final, we were determined to perform better in the match," said Colin.
"I am sure England would be disappointed with the results. We scored a lot of goals in the match and won it," the coach said.
Meanwhile, Australia captain Aran Zalewski also echoed his coach's statement and said the team was happy with the performance after the last disappointing match.
