Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has set out on a new mission to strengthen his father and late poet Harivanshrai Bachchan's legacy by creating a website dedicated to the literary giant with the right and comprehensive facts.
The 72-year-old took to micro-blogging site Twitter to request his fans and followers to share any detail about his father.
"I am collecting any information, details, snippets, pictures of my Father Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan, the literary giant. If you have any inputs of his interactions, letters, conversations, meetings, poetic symposiums that he attended, any stories...anything connected to my Father, please send to this Email ID: thebachchanfamily@gmail.com <mailto:thebachchanfamily@gmail.com>," Big B wrote on Thursday.
Harivansh Rai, who died in 2003, is credited with works like "Madhushala" and "Agneepath".
The "Paa" actor, who is often seen reciting Harivanshrai's poetry, noted the idea is to declutter the online world from all the wrong information about his father.
"Account has been created for Babuji's data collation. I wish to put up a comprehensive website, giving correct information, because many sites carry his name but incorrect information!! Thank you," he further shared.
Meanwhile, Amitabh is gearing up for "Piku", directed by Shoojit Sircar, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan. The film will release on May 8.
