Mumbai, April 22 (IANS) The second edition of the Indian Luxury Expo will not only showcase the best of the brands, but it will also create awareness among people about cancer through its association with cricketer Yuvraj Singh's Cancer Prevention Foundation, YouWeCan.

The three-day luxury event starts April 26 at the Grand Hyatt here.

"YouWeCan is pushing hard for early detection (of cancer) and is working rigorously to make people more aware about cancer. Early detection of cancer can save many lives. YouWeCan is thankful to Indian Luxury Expo for this partnership and spreading our agenda," said Yuvraj in a statement.

Karan Bhangay, chief executive officer of the Indian Luxury Expo, is also humbled by the association.

"It's an honour to be associated with organisations that do incredible work towards wellbeing of every living being, be it humans or animals. We are sure this association will create an impact on the visitors and other participants at the Indian Luxury Expo," he said.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is also associating with the expo to promote vegan luxury.
