Cinematographer-actor Natty also known as Natarajan Subramanian, who plays a pivotal role in upcoming Nivin Pauly-starrer yet-untitled Tamil outing, had also doubled up as a cameraman for one scene, much to the delight of the entire unit.
"He's the most experienced on the set. His experience has been very helpful throughout the course of the shoot. He suggests which side to face and act, suggests the angle in which to shoot, according to the placement of the camera," film's director Gautham Ramachandran told IANS.
The film, a remake of Kannada thriller "Ulidavaru Kandanthe", is on the verge of completion.
"He (Natty) even shot one scene for us. It has been so much encouraging to work with him," he said.
The makers still haven't finalised the title.
"We had planned to acquire the title of a yesteryear Tamil hit, and it was Natty who initiated talks with the production house to buy the title from them. The kind of involvement he's shown in this project is exemplary," he said.
