YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy is confident of his party's landslide victory in Seemandhra, where polling for assembly and Lok Sabha was held Wednesday.

"It will be one-sided sweep. With the god's help and people's blessings, we will win big number of seats," he told reporters in Pulivendula in Kadapa district, from where he is contesting for the assembly.

Simultaneous polling for 175 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats was held in Seemandhra, which will come into being as a separate state on June 2.

Jagan, as the leader is popularly known, said he would support a leader as prime minister who would stand by the state and its people. "Whoever wants to become PM will come to us for our support. The interests of the state are most important for us," he said indicating that all options are open for YSRCP.

Targetting Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, he said Naidu sought vote for Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

"I sought votes for the state's future. I always said Modi, Yellaiah or Pullaiah we will think later. We will elect a prime minister who supports the state and who stands by people," he said.

Jagan said the state need full support from the central government as the bifurcation bill passed in parliament was unjust. He said despite the bill being unjust, TDP and BJP supported it.

He said Hyderabad which was a growth engine was taken away from Seemandhra and there was no assurance on financial help to build the new capital.

"The outgoing PM read out a letter in parliament and the issues mentioned were not even included in the bill. Everything is ambiguous," he added.
