Bedroom activities of couples can be expected to keep beds rocking during the cold weather with a study suggesting that winter turns the men more desirous of sex.
Scientists found that men were more aroused by revealing pictures of women during colder months than they were during the summer, Daily Mail reported.
In a new study, 114 men were asked to rate the attractiveness of several women every three months over the course of one year.
Once every three months, each man was asked to rate two sets of photos. One showed only women's faces and the other showed their bodies - either in a bathing costumes or close-up shots of the women's covered breasts.
The researchers found that men's attraction to women's faces did not change during the course of the year. However, their attraction to women's bodies did.
They reported noticeably increased levels of arousal over the more revealing pictures in the months of December, January and February than they did in the three summer months of June, July and August.
