Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has so far worked with popular actors in tinsel town but says that even if some day "stars" refuse to work with her, she won't stop making movies.
"If every star refuses to work with me, am I going to stop making movies? Not at all! So, I will keep making movies with or without them," Zoya said here recently.
Zoya has worked with stars like Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Abhay Deol and even her actor-filmmaker brother Farhan Akhtar.
She admits the presence of known names spells business.
"Stars ensure an opening and that's why they are stars. They ensure eyeballs and they ensure people will notice your film. Some of them are amazing actors, who fit perfectly into a film. They are also very exciting to work with," she said.
As of now, Zoya awaits the release of "Bombay Talkies", which includes one of her short films.

Mandira to play grey character in 'Oye Teri'
Actress Mandira Bedi, last seen on the big screen in the 2009 film "42 Kms", is not just geared up to feature in a new TV series, but she is also excited about returning to celluloid with "Oye Teri".
"I am doing a film with Atul Agnihotri. It has an ensemble cast, and it is called 'Oye Teri'. It is a political satire," Mandira told IANS.
"I play an interesting grey character. In India, there are either black or white characters, but I play a grey one. The role appealed to me," said the actress, who has already shot for a couple of days for the movie.
Meanwhile, she is geared up to host kids' singing reality show "Indian Idol Junior", and she is even upbeat about returning to the fiction genre on the small screen after a gap of nine years.
