Be it any festival, small screen actors hardly get time to celebrate it with their family and friends, because of a hectic schedule. Janmashtami, being celebrated Wednesday, will also see actresses Esha Kansara and Shrenu Parikh spending time facing camera.

Esha, who plays Kittu in "Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi...Meri Bhabhi", said: Being a Gujarati, Janmashtami is a grand festival for me. Also I was born on this day, so I always celebrate the festival with my family. But this time due to my hectic work schedule, I won't be able to go to my hometown.

Shrenu, seen as Astha in "Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...Ek Baar Phir", said: In my city (Vadodara) on Janmashtami we all fast. The best part is that people play 'teenpatti'. Earlier, I didn't get to play and now I don't get time to play. This Janmashtami, I will be shooting and, therefore, may not be able to participate in the rituals that will be performed at home.

Meanwhile, Kanchi Kaul, seen as Shraddha in "...Meri Bhabhi", is hoping to take time out to enjoy her favourite festival.

"When I was in college, breaking 'dahi handi' was awesome. Going out on the streets, breaking the 'handi' with my friends and even falling down from the pyramid was the fun part. It is one of my favourite festivals and even this year if I get some free time from my shooting schedule. I will make it a point to go and watch the 'dahi handi' festival with my friends," she said.
