Indian wrestler Sandeep Tomar was beaten by Victor Lebedev of Russia 3-7 in the men's Freestyle 57 kilogram 1/8 final round at the Rio Olympics here on Friday.
Sandeep never looked in contention to win the match as the Russian grappler overpowered him to advance into the next round at the Carioca Arena 2 - Mat B.
The Indian still has a chance to win a bronze medal in the Repechage round provided Victor reaches the final of the event.
