Actor Kalaiarasan says his forthcoming Tamil thriller "Yeidhavan", which is slated for May 5 release, is fuelled by some risky yet realistic action scenes which were performed without body doubles or protective gear.
"The film has some tough fight sequences. Although risky, we shot the action scenes without body doubles or ropes because we wanted them to be realistic," Kalaiarasan told IANS.
Directed by Sakthi Rajasekaran, the film focuses on issues in our educational system.
Talking about the film, he said he was moved by the story.
"It's a powerful subject and one that needs to be spoken about. It will be a significant film in my career. I'm confident audiences will embrace the film," he said, adding he thoroughly enjoyed working on the project.
The film also stars Satna Titus, who plays a police officer.
