As the world celebrated the second International Yoga Day on Tuesday, health experts have urged people to make Yoga an integral part of their life as it can boost their immunity and help tackle several health conditions.

They said that if one performs Yoga regularly then there is no need for extra efforts through artificial means such as surgeries.

"Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental well-being. It builds immunity. Reduction in weight, a strong and flexible body, glowing skin, peaceful mind, good health, yoga has everything to offer," said Parag Rindani, centre head at Wockhardt Hospitals.

In a recent announcement, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences has also said that it will establish a new research centre to figure out other benefits of Yoga.

"Yoga has been performed in India across the ages. It is a great thing that not just India but the entire world has adopted it for healing and motivating the inner spirit," said Ramakant Deshpande, Oncologist and Vice Chairman of the Asian Cancer Institute.

According to Deshpande, for cancer patients their will power plays an important role to fight against the disease and it gets stronger due to Yoga.
