As many as 19 films from the European Union countries, highlighting youth issues, will be showcased at the 19th edition of the European Film Festival beginning here June 13.
A rich collection of youth-centric films from countries like Belgium, Lithuania, Finland and Slovakia will be screened at the state government-run Nandan theatre till June 19.
It will be organised by the Alliance Francaise, Cine Central and the state government.
"All the movies will revolve around the youth in EU countries. They will offer a glimpse of the tradition and style of cinema in Europe," Sanjib Dutta, member, Cine Central, told IANS.
He said the films are in the native languages of the participating nations and would be screened with English subtitles.
