Emphasising the need for creativity and innovation among the youth, Omita Paul, secretary to the president, said on Tuesday that they should take up the responsibility of building an inclusive society.
"It is my belief that the youth will rise to the occasion and take up the responsibility of bringing about change and extending the frontiers of knowledge in order to build an inclusive society," Paul added.
"One creative mind could unleash a flood of creativity and prosperity," she said.
Paul was speaking at a meeting of Innovation Clubs of various universities, Indian Institute of Technology, National Institute of Information Technology on Tuesday.
The meeting was held for the first time at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The meeting was part of the ongoing "Festival of Innovations" which began on March 7.

Addressing the gathering, Paul said the endeavour to set up Innovation Clubs was aimed at not only extending help in bringing out the needs of local areas but to also suggest solutions to those issues.
Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus of Bangladesh was also present on the occasion and shared his experiences regarding Gramin Bank.
He pointed out the bottlenecks of the sector and solutions for effective functioning of rural banks that would consequently contribute to the development of the nation.
