Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has warned of the need to avoid being overconfident about easily defeating Japanese football outfit Kashima Antlers in the final of the Club World Cup on Sunday.
"The key is to rest up as we have very few days to prepare for the final. Now we are just focused on the final and the trophy that is there to be won. We have come a long way and we have one game to go," the Real Madrid coach said at a news conference on Thursday, reports Efe news agency.
Zidane said he has not looked at any Japanese player in particular and valued the overall team, which surprised everyone on Wednesday by beating Colombian powerhouse Atletico Nacional 0-3 in the semi-finals.
"We know it is going to be a difficult game. They are a Japanese team playing at home. We are ready and motivated to win this trophy. It is important to know who we are facing," the former France star added.
