Corporate Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid doesn’t see the endless delays in finalising the new Companies Bill as a drawback. Speaking at a conference organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, on Tuesday, the minister said “Good wine takes time to mature” when he referred to the Companies Bill and other pending corporate-related legislation. He did, however, add that the upcoming Budget session of Parliament would be a good time to pop the cork on these Bills.
