Former Sebi member K M Abraham’s letter to the Prime Minister’s Office, which created much controversy in New Delhi, has finally reached Mumbai. Thanks to some cyber-activists, a soft copy of the letter is doing the rounds of inboxes in Sebi Bhavan, media houses and corporations. While allegations against the “Big Man” and the “Lady” are already public, new characters like the “schemer” and “executor” are emerging from the letter. The letter says Sebi chairman U K Sinha “has on a few occasions referred to Julka as the schemer and Thomas as the executor,” the two being officials in the finance ministry. “There is no single person to whom one can talk — first one has to convince Thomas, then Julka and then finally the Lady,” the chairman is believed to have said, explaining the difficulty in interacting with North Block officials.
