It is not just Sonia Gandhi who has been befriending social activists and non-government organisations (NGOs), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), too, has its favourites. Some of the social activists who have managed to push Maharashtra’s Anna Hazare to fast unto death on the issue of the Lok Pal Bill have been coordinating their activities with BJP leaders. Right to information activist Arvind Kejriwal was recently seen closetted with BJP leader Arun Jaitley, briefing him on what the NGOs are up to. So, no prizes for guessing why Kejriwal has been objecting to Union Human Resource Minister Kapil Sibal being associated with the drafting of the Lok Pal Bill.
