Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, both in Bihar as well as at the Centre, are busy propitiating the gods these days. From party president Amit Shah to Bihar leader Sushil Modi, many have been spotted visiting temples; some have even met astrologers. BJP insiders say a renowned astrologer has told the BJP president that according to his horoscope, the next eight to nine months might not be favourable to him. This has led to much heartburn in the party, as not only Bihar apart - where Assembly polls are taking place - West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam and Puducherry will go to polls by April next year.
