Environment and Forest Minister Jairam Ramesh seems to be a changed man these days. After his unwarranted comments in Beijing that almost robbed him of his ministerial post, Ramesh has actually stopped talking out of context. After the China episode, where he criticised the Ministry of Home Affairs’ China policy, Ramesh has held just one press conference and is very careful while talking to the media. Earlier, Ramesh was a darling of the media for his colourful comments and regular briefings. But now he too has adopted a far safer approach towards the Fourth Estate.
