Age, they say, is just a number. And yet, a difference of three years in age matters a lot when it comes to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s way of thinking. When Wipro Chairman Azim Premji came to visit Banerjee, she told a bunch of journalists to spare Premji their questions in view of his age. Premji is 66 years old. Banerjee, however, chose not spare her 62-year-old colleague, West Bengal Finance Minister Amit Mitra, who later had to address the media on the discussions that took place between the chief minister and Premji and answer all their questions.
