A Rajasthan minister has taken it up as a challenge to ensure "no one like (Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union president) Kanhaiya Kumar is born" in the state. Vasudev Devnani, minister of state for primary and secondary education, said major changes were being made in the school curriculum "to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in students". Kumar, who was arrested over a controversial event on the university campus where anti-India slogans were allegedly raised, was later released on bail.
