When even a rank outsider like the Hyderabad-based Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM), with two seats, fares better than a "son of the soil" party like the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), it's no surprise that Raj Thackeray and his party are becoming the butt of many jibes on WhatsApp, which have been coming thick and fast. Here's a quick recap of some choice ones:
"What did MNS MLAs ask when the entered the Vidhan Bhavan canteen? A table for two (Oops, somebody should tell the sender that Raj Thackeray's party got just one seat)."
Or: "Forget Marathi Manoos, Raj is now busy trying to figure where he'll get a better price for selling his party: Quikr or OLX. He might also want to try Snapdeal."
And, this one showing Thackeray gesticulating in his typical style: "Ata keval ekach Dhyeya. Big Boss Season 9" (We now have just one target. Big Boss Season 9).
